GrizzlyTrek Group Ltd. in Calgary, Alberta is seeking a Temporary Class 1 Driver to join our team for a client engagement. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and adherence to dispatch directions while delivering on schedule and maintaining proper inspections and documentation.

You will operate a Class 1 unit, perform inspections, secure loads, and coordinate with dispatch to meet deadlines. Overtime may be available based on operations.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 driver’s licence.
• Verifiable experience driving tractor-trailer units.
• Working knowledge of pre-trip inspections and load securement.
• Able to communicate clearly with dispatch, site staff and customers.
• Reliable attendance and safety-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class 1 vehicle safely in line with Alberta regulations.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report defects.
• Ensure loads are secured before movement.
• Maintain accurate logs and delivery paperwork.
• Stay in contact with dispatch and follow the schedule.
• Participate in safety meetings and toolbox talks.
