Job summary

Primary Care Alberta is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Health Link RN Teletriage. You will deliver a wide range of nursing services via telephone, using clinical protocols to triage and advise callers across Alberta.

Critical thinking and strong assessment skills are essential to determine the best care path for each caller. Provisional permits are paid at $40.76–$55.79/hour, with full permit pay aligned to UNA rates.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing education program.
• Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing services to patients, families, communities and populations.
• Utilize nursing processes with critical thinking, problem solving and decision making.
• Teach, counsel and advocate for patients and families; support integrated and holistic care.
