Placements24 is seeking a proactive Telecoms IT Support Engineer to join a growing technical support team in Kimberley, Canada. The role focuses on providing comprehensive IT support for internal systems and telecommunications infrastructure to ensure smooth operations for all employees.

You will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, manage user accounts, monitor performance, and assist in deploying new IT solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of IT support experience with exposure to telecommunications systems.
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with network administration and troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Strong problem-solving skills and customer service orientation.
