Our client is a leader in providing innovative telecoms solutions and is looking for a highly experienced Remote Solutions Architect to join their distributed team, servicing clients with origins from Kimberley, Northern Cape. This role is central to designing bespoke, cutting-edge technology solutions for clients, encompassing network, cloud, and software integration. You will work closely with sales teams and clients to understand their unique business challenges and translate them into comprehensive technical blueprints. This fully remote position allows you to leverage your expertise from anywhere, collaborating with diverse clients and contributing to transformative projects within the ever-evolving telecommunications landscape, impacting businesses across the country.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to understand their business requirements and technical challenges within the telecoms domain.
• Design end-to-end technical solutions, including network architecture, cloud integration, and application components.
• Develop detailed solution designs, architecture diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with sales teams to articulate the value proposition of proposed solutions and support pre-sales activities.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies and platforms to meet client needs.
• Provide technical guidance and support throughout the solution implementation lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a Solutions Architect or similar technical design role, preferably in the telecoms industry.
• Proven expertise in designing complex solutions involving networking, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and software integration.
• Strong understanding of various telecommunications technologies, services, and market trends.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects concurrently, and travel occasionally if required.
