Responsibilities

This role requires expert-level experience with Avaya Communication Manager (CM), System Manager, and Session Manager. Responsibilities include managing all functions for CPE Telecom projects such as executing service moves, adds, changes, and disconnections. You will coordinate telecom processes, monitor PBX system performance, and assist in translating user needs into effective communication solutions. Additional duties include correcting PBX alarms, replacing malfunctioning equipment, developing upgrade plans, supporting budget and emergency planning, installing hardware/software, setting up user accounts, performing preventive maintenance, and maintaining relationships with service providers.

Qualifications

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with seven (7) years of experience in telecommunications.
• Strong knowledge of system design and hands-on experience with Avaya PBX systems (s87xx and LSP series) and gateways.
• Experience with enterprise contact center solutions, including PBX / ACD call routing and workflow management.
• Experience in scoping, planning, analysis, design, development, implementation, and support of PBX systems.
• Support MAC activities for in-house systems.
• Engineering and administration of voicemail systems, call center applications, VDNs, and Vectors.
• Experience with Avaya VoIP technologies across enterprise locations.
• Manage backups for telecom systems and troubleshoot advanced issues.
• Coordinate provisioning of voice, services, and technologies.
• Administer MUX devices and PBX functions (e.g., ARS, Call Routing).
• Strong security knowledge to prevent toll fraud and breaches.
• Develop telephony roadmaps and maintain system documentation.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident investigations, perform root cause analysis.
• Create and update policies, procedures, and technical documentation.
• Ability to work independently on tasks and projects.

Preferred qualifications include Avaya technical certifications and training in network design and management.

Prime Healthcare offers competitive compensation and benefits, including paid time off, 401K, medical/dental/vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and voluntary benefits. The estimated annual compensation range for this role is $85,841.60 to $160,680.00, depending on experience, education, and credentials.
