Make an impact with our Solution Delivery team as Technology Product Specialist. This diverse team of professionals effectively drives change and successful outcomes while ensuring activities remain on track, on scope and within budget. As a trusted advisor, you’ll identify and interpret business needs, plan and organize resources and develop procedures and schedules that ensure deliverables meet MNP’s commitment to quality and client service excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Execute on the strategic vision for MNP’s proprietary, business-critical applications as defined by the Product Manager, and the executive team
  • Evaluate and identify opportunities for improvement of the application from both a business and technical perspective to meet needs within a changing business climate
  • Work with other product teams to evaluate upcoming cross-product features and the impact on internal integrations
  • Work with the Product Manager to prioritize feature requests and work items in conjunction with Technology management to ensure the timely delivery to users while ensuring efficient and effective use of internal and offshore development resources
  • Maintain and contribute to the product backlog to track incoming feature requests or changes (via tickets, project intake forms, etc.), document technical and business requirements, and ensure proper sign-off
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and anticipate what changes in features or functionality will better enable utilization of the application to its full potential
  • Write clear and concise work items from which developers can write code
  • Proactively communicate upcoming changes with impacted users and follow-up on suggestions from internal stakeholders regarding feature requests
  • Support day-to-day operations of the application, including triaging issues, coordinating resolutions, and ensuring user satisfaction
  • Assist with the creation of training materials and oversee educating the Application Support Team and users on new features
  • Follow-up with users post release for feedback on newly developed features or changes and ensure lessons learned and feedback are incorporated into future sprints

Skills and Experience

  • Two (2) to four (4) years of experience in product management, project management or business analysis in a technology-focused role with proven track record of constantly delivering value
  • Strong business acumen and ability to understand how application features impact operational efficiency and strategic goals
  • Ability to decompose an ambiguous ask into tangible actions and drive forward the delivery
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum or formal Application Lifecycle Management
  • Excellent written communication skills and previous experience in technical requirements documentationAbility to liaise effectively with Partners, executive team, senior managers, internal stakeholders, and key decision-makers
  • Experience in application support or customer success within a business or enterprise context
