Job description Infosys is seeking a Python Developer. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications : Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Montreal, Quebec or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. • At least 6 or more years of total IT experience with good exposure to lead a small size team. Should have experience with of ensuring quality and timeliness of implementation of activities related to design, build and implementation of work product; participate in activities related to requirements elicitation, validation of architecture, creation and review of design; assign and review tasks for work product implementation.
• At least 2-3 experience in Python skills to design, develop, implement, and enhance applications. Advance Python hands-on experience with Microservices framework is definitely an added advantage.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in Agile. Knowledge of ceremonies.
• No-SQL database experience in Mongo DB.
• Experience and knowledge of at least one of the following Document based No-SQL DBs – MongoDB.
• Good knowledge about CI / CD Azure DevOps Pipelines.
• Additionally, knowledge of following technologies would be an advantage : Kafka, REST, Jira, Confluence, GCP / Anthos / Kubernetes with Docker containers.The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face.
