Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent, plus 2–5 years in CVCA and controls. Technical training a plus.
• Strong MS Office skills and comfort with smartphones/tablets.
• Knowledge of low‑voltage electrical systems, electronics, and direct digital control techniques.
• ABC electrical apprenticeship program involvement is a plus.
• Valid driver's license for at least 12 months.
• Experience with DDC control systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install building automation systems and controls.
• Read and interpret control drawings, plans and specs for installation work.
• Prepare site installations, coordinate with trades, and manage on-site tasks.
• Maintain inventory and company equipment, and document work.
• Record hours, progress and follow required reporting timelines.
• Represent the company to clients as the main contact and perform on-site maintenance and repairs.
• Keep current on Trane products related to direct digital control systems.
• Inspect and maintain company vehicles and ensure proper documentation.
• Ensure tools and equipment are well-maintained and safe to use.
• Adhere to health and safety standards and track asset usage and wear.
• Frequent travel with occasional overnight stays; possible overtime.
