Want to join our team as a Temporary CAD Technician?

The Temporary CAD Technician reports to the Senior Developer and is responsible for preparing 2D & 3D CAD drawings and models to support product development activities, while ensuring that the Research and Development organization is a value-added partner for Bauer Hockey. This a 9-12 months Temporary role that is based out of our Blainville, QC Product Innovation Center and needs to go into the office 3 days a week.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:

• Designs and models new components based on design and engineering instructions using CAD equipment and techniques.
• Conducts analysis of virtual models to meet engineering and design requirements.
• Collaborates with designers, developers, and engineers to develop innovative products.
• Makes recommendations concerning new CAD drafting and modeling techniques.
• Serve as an on-site expert on various 3D printing technologies.

Qualifications:

• A professional course in CAD or related field- or equivalent years of relevant and related experience.
• Minimum 1-3 years industry experience in design and/or manufacturing environment.
• Experience creating and using engineering drawings.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks software.
• Experience in the use of other software such as: Creo, Autocad, Rhino, etc.
• Strong communication skills in French & English required (both written and verbal).
• Detail-orientated, with ability to seek creative viable solution to any given situation.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced environment.
