Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Kanata, Ontario seeks a Technician - ISC Level 2 to support Integrated Supply Chain operations. You will perform moderately complex troubleshooting, test equipment, maintain systems, and report issues to improve efficiency.

You will report to the Sr ISC Production Supervisor, work on-site with an Afternoon Shift (Mon-Fri, 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm), and contribute to minimizing downtime and increasing productivity. CGP clearance eligibility and lifting up to 35 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• CGP security clearance eligibility required.
• Minimum 18 months of experience in an electronic testing role.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

As a Technician - ISC Level 2 here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will support ISC operations by performing moderately complex troubleshooting, testing equipment, maintaining systems, and reporting any issues. You will assist in process improvements to ensure smooth functioning and high efficiency.

You will report directly to our Sr ISC Production Supervisor and work out of our Kanata, ON location on an onsite work schedule (Afternoon Shift: Monday – Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm).

As a Technician - ISC Level 2 at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a critical role in supporting Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) operations by performing technical tasks and providing hands‑on support to ensure smooth process functioning. You will be responsible for moderately complex troubleshooting, maintaining and operating equipment, and assisting in implementing process improvements. Your technical expertise and attention to detail will be essential in maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

In this role, you will impact on the efficiency and reliability of our supply chain operations, contributing to the overall success of the business by ensuring that equipment and processes run optimally. Your work will help minimize downtime, improve productivity, and support the continuous improvement of our supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate and calibrate test systems according to specifications and safety guidelines.
• Testing verification and reporting of devices under test.
• Troubleshoot and resolve moderately complex technical issues related to devices under test, including diagnosing minor problems, identifying root causes, and implementing appropriate solutions
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to support the implementation of test setups, upgrades and modifications
• Understanding of test procedures.
• Document all test activities in appropriate software, including updating equipment records and preparing reports.

Qualifications

The Honeywell Aerospace building is a controlled goods program (CGP) environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP security clearance.

YOU MUST HAVE

• High school diploma
• Minimum 18 months of experience in an electronic testing role.
• Must have the ability to lift up to 35lbs.

The annual base salary range for this position is $50,000 to $70,000 in Kanata, Ontario. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
