Job summary

Convergint Technologies LLC in Fort McMurray, AB is seeking Overhead Crane Technicians to perform inspections, repairs, and maintenance on overhead cranes, hoists, and commercial doors at the Suncor site.

Candidates should be safety-focused, self-motivated, able to work at heights, and committed to customer service and teamwork.

This role offers a FIFO 14/14 rotation with accommodations provided and a comprehensive benefits plan.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid and clean driver's license.
• Must be able to travel to and work on job sites.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Solid working knowledge of building operations and maintenance.
• Ability to read and understand building floor plans and design drawings.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and complete multiple tasks with minimal direction.
• Flexibility to respond to emergencies and rapidly changing needs.
• Solid understanding of OHS regulations and procedures.
• Must be comfortable working at heights over 120 ft (ladders, scaffolds, and lifts).
• Experience with power tools.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
