Job summary

Access Industrial is seeking a Service Technician to join our Sudbury team. You will perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on mining, construction, and industrial equipment, both in-shop and in the field.

Responsibilities include completing service reports, communicating with customers about equipment status, and ensuring a clean, safe work environment. Candidates should have a valid technician license and strong troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• Licensed Heavy Equipment Technician (Red Seal) or Automotive Technician with relevant hands-on experience.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills are required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on mining, industrial and construction equipment in shop or field.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and complete service reports and work orders accurately.
• Communicate clearly with customers and team members about equipment status and repairs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Service Technician to join our team in Sudbury, ON.

JOB DESCRIPTION

UN OVERVIEW OF THE MANDATE :

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of mining, industrial and construction equipment (including Toyota Land Cruisers, Wacker Neuson, PAUS, Genie, Manitou, Red Lift, and other product lines).
• Conduct preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues both in-shop and in the field.
• Complete service reports, work orders, and documentation accurately.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding equipment status and repairs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

GENERAL SKILLS

YOU ARE THE PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR IF :

• Licensed Heavy Equipment or Automotive Technician, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Customer-focused with strong communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license (DZ an asset).
• Experience with mining, construction or industrial equipment preferred.
