Job summary

Bosch Building Technologies North America is seeking a Technician II - Security to install and service electronic security systems at customer sites. You will interpret blueprints, collaborate with Project Managers and Sales Teams, and lead junior technicians on site while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires 3–5 years in security tech, a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and flexibility for 5pm–12am shifts.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a technical role within the integrated security industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean abstract.
• Ability to use hand and specialty tools associated with the industry.
• Ability to lift 50lbs consistently.
• Able to work independently.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Shift work 5pm - 12am may be required.

Responsibilities

• Installing and servicing electronic security systems, including access control, CCTV and intrusion alarms.
• Pre‑wiring, installing, programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Prepares and executes Acceptance Testing Plans that meet contract, client and future service needs.
• Assist in system design and layout.
• Provide customer with training for proper system usage, and respond to technical inquiries.
• Relationship building with clients and prospects for future opportunities.
• Administrative duties including project updates to Project Managers, completing and filing all project documentation.
• Support, lead, and mentor team members.
• Design systems and layout.
• Maintain a high level of safety and professionalism.
• Lead projects at a site level, manage a team of junior technicians as necessary.
• Work at required heights utilizing ladders, scaffolding, lifts, or other equipment.
• Work in confined spaces as necessary.
• Perform other tasks as required.

Salary Range

$27.70ph - $38.91 (DOE)

Working Conditions

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to outdoor weather conditions, work on job sites, may be required to travel to and from job site locations, may work in a typical office environment, and is occasionally exposed to construction equipment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Confined space entry may be required. High work may be required.
