Job summary

Bosch Building Technologies is seeking a Technician II - Security to install, configure, maintain, and service electronic security systems, including access control, CCTV and intrusion alarms, following installation blueprints from project managers and sales teams.

Responsibilities include cable pulling, training customers, troubleshooting, and leading on-site projects while ensuring safety and professionalism. Frequent travel within three hours of Sudbury is required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years plus of experience in a technical role within the integrated security industry.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean abstract.
• Ability to pass security clearance.
• Proficiency in cable pulling, installation, and basic troubleshooting.
• Experience with security systems, CCTV, and alarms.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with customers and team members.
• Able to work independently.
• Bilingual (French and English) (preferred)

Job description

As a Technician II - Security with Bosch Building Technologies, you will collaboratively review, understand, analyze (for correctness), and implement installation blueprints and plans from Project Managers and Sales Teams to complete installations.

Responsibilities

• Perform cable pulling, termination, and routing as part of security system installation.
• Provide the customer with training for proper system usage, and respond to technical inquiries.

• Perform other tasks as required.
• Support, lead, and mentor team members.
• Maintain a high level of safety and professionalism.
• Lead projects at a site level, manage a team of junior technicians as necessary.
• Required travel within three hours of Sudbury (Frequently)
• Other duties as required.

Pay Range

$27.70 - $38.91 (DOE)
