Sapphire Sound Inc in Abbotsford is seeking a driven AV sales/design professional to join our sales and design team. You will develop relationships with customers, design solutions, and oversee installation handover, with regular site visits to spot new opportunities.

We offer a highly commission-based role with on-target earnings of CAD 70,000–150,000 and a path for career growth, health benefits, and RRSP matching. A strong technical and interpersonal blend is essential.

Qualifications

• 1 year of AV sales experience.
• 2 years of AV experience (installation or other).
• Experience with AV systems is required (sales or install/technician/operation).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft and Google software (Word, Excel, Sheets, Docs, Etc.).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize urgent matters.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A valid Class 5 Drivers License with reliable transportation.
• iPhone or Android Smartphone.
• Experience with control and DSP systems is beneficial in the design process.

Responsibilities

• Find new business, develop relationships, determine customer needs, design a solution, and oversee implementation and handover.
• Stay connected to projects even after the sales portion is secured.

We are looking for a qualified individual to join our sales and design team in our Abbotsford office. Our unique range of jobs includes installations in performing arts venues (sound, video, lighting), churches, restaurants and hospitality and corporate boardrooms.

The job is highly commission-based and requires a driven individual who is ready to dig in and fight to win jobs. You will be primarily working in an office setting but will regularly need to attend site visits and be on the lookout for new customers and opportunities.

Our sales people are also our designers, so strong technical knowledge is required in addition to interpersonal skills in order to be successful.

What will be expected of you:

You will be responsible for finding new business, developing a relationship, determining customer needs, designing a solution, and overseeing the implementation and handover process. In general our sales people stay very connected to projects even after the \"sales\" portion of the project is secured.

Experience with AV systems is required (can be on the sales side, or on the install/technician/operation side)
