Job summary

Kia North Bay is seeking a dedicated Service Technician to maintain, repair, and service customer vehicles, ensuring safety and customer satisfaction. You will be a key member of our service team, performing scheduled maintenance, diagnostics, and road tests to uphold Kia North Bay’s high standards.

The ideal candidate holds a valid Automotive Service Technician (310S) certificate, a Class G driver’s license with a clean record, and can work well in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Automotive Service Technician Certification (310S) is required.
• Class G driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
• Ability to work in a team with an upbeat and engaging attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs as assigned.
• Diagnose the source of any malfunction and perform the repair.
• Inspect vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
• Explain procedures and repairs to Service Advisors.
• Conduct road tests and safety inspections.

As a key member of our team, the Service Technician brings to life the ultimate service experience. The Service Technician is responsible for working attentively in maintaining, repairing, and servicing customer vehicles to ensure safety and customer satisfaction as well as overall department success.

Job Duties:

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs as assigned.
• Diagnose the source of any malfunction and perform the repair.
• Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
• Explain procedures and repairs directly to the Service Advisors.
• Perform road test and safety inspections.

Successful Candidates Possess:

• Valid Automotive Service Technician of Qualification (310S).
• Strong Aptitude of technical/mechanical repairs.
• Valid Driver's License (Class G) and a clean driving record.
• Ability to work in a team and possesses strong interpersonal skills with an upbeat and engaging attitude.
• Able to operate manual and automatic transmissions
