Job summary

Finning in Canada seeks two Mining Technical Service Representatives – Shovels and Drills to support mining customers nationwide. You will be a trusted technical advisor, conducting site visits, audits, and providing recommendations to improve reliability and performance.

Starting base salary is between $115k–$125k CAD, with a short‑term incentive plan. The role may be based in Edmonton, AB or British Columbia and uses a 7x7 shift rotation; Caterpillar equipment experience is a strong asset.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of customer-facing experience in mining, heavy equipment or industrial operations.
• Valid class 5 driver's license
• Strong knowledge of shovels and drills
• Caterpillar equipment experience is an asset
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Position Overview:

At Finning, the world’s largest Caterpillar deal, we are looking for two experienced Mining Technical Service Representatives – Shovels and Drills to support our mining customers across Canada.

In this role you will serve as a trusted technical advisor for shovel and drill fleets, helping customer improve equipment reliability, availability, and performance. Working closely with mine team, you will perform equipment audits, provide technical recommendations, coordinate service support and ensure equipment operation and maintenance align with Caterpillar OEM standards.

We anticipate the starting base salary for this position will be between $115 - $125k, with an addition of a short term incentive plan. Actual salary will be based on the candidate’s experience.

• This position may be based out of Edmonton, AB or British Columbia
• This position is on a 7x7 shift rotation
