MPI, a global automation technology leader, is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to drive growth across Alberta. You will develop new business and manage key customer relationships with OEMs, machine builders, system integrators, and end users, selling servo drives, motors, actuators, PLCs, HMIs, and I/O systems.

Responsibilities include strategic sales planning, full-cycle opportunity management, and delivering technical presentations and product demonstrations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant technical sales experience within industrial automation.
• Strong knowledge of pneumatic/hydraulic/electric automation or factory automation.
• Experience selling servo drives, motors, actuators, PLCs, I/O systems, HMIs and controllers.

As a Technical Sales Representative, you will drive growth across Alberta by developing new business and managing key customer relationships. In this role, you will work with OEMs, machine builders, system integrator, and end users, providing automation solutions including servo drives, motors, actuators, PLCs, HMIs, controllers, and I/O system

Description

• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to grow business throughout Alberta.
• Drive sales of Electric Automation and motion control solutions, including : Servo drives , Servo motors , Electric actuators , I/O systems , HMIs , PLCs etc.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities across OEMs, machine builders, system integrators, engineering firms, and industrial end users.
• Manage opportunities throughout the complete sales cycle, from prospecting and technical discussions through quotation, negotiation, and closing.
• Conduct customer visits, technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution discussions.

Profile

• Overall, 4+ years of relevant technical sales experience.
• Strong knowledge in the Pneumatics, hydraulics, electric automation, motion control or factory automation.
• Experience selling products such as - servo drives, motors, electric actuators, PLCs, I/O systems, HMIs, and controllers is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to generate new business while managing and developing existing accounts.
• Experience working with OEMs, machine builders, system integrator, and/or industrial end users is highly desirable

Job Offer

• Annual expected compensation range: CAD140-160k (CAD 100-120k Base + Bonus + RRSP Match + Benefits).
• Permanent position with opportunities for growth and development.
• Fully Remote Role
• Job location: Calgary.
