Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies seeks a Technical Sales Representative to expand our Calgary region footprint and manage a mix of new and existing accounts. You will drive growth by promoting bearings, power transmission, and fluid power products through consultative selling, meeting client needs and delivering superior performance.

You will travel throughout the Calgary region, with a monthly car allowance or company vehicle provided, plus essential tools and support to build strong customer

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years in technical/outside sales to industrial MROs, OEMs and related components
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to understand technical products
• Sales and service oriented with professional conduct
• Ability to prospect for new clients and manage relationships
• Strong written and verbal communication across teams and customers

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and maintain existing territory in Calgary region
• Prospect for new customers, set appointments and demonstrate product benefits
• Build strategic relationships to align customer goals with value propositions
• Collaborate with management to develop sales strategies and identify opportunities
• Respond to product inquiries and engage in direct sales activities
• Meet or exceed sales targets and maintain productive team relationships
