Job summary

CoolIT, an Ecolab company, seeks a liquid cooling expert to drive growth across hyperscale, colocation, and server OEM/ODMs markets from Calgary, Alberta. You will present deep product knowledge via reports, CAD renders, and simulations, guiding customers through early planning while balancing technical and commercial risks.

You will build strong customer relationships, expand adoption of CDU racks, coldplate loops, and software solutions, and stay current with industry codes and trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• 5+ years experience in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, applications engineering, technical sales, or product development.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth across all datacenter liquid cooling markets (hyperscale, colocation, server OEM/ODMs).
• Secure new product introduction opportunities with technical reports, presentations, CAD renders and simulations.
• Guide customers through early-stage product planning balancing technical and commercial risks.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As a trusted customer-facing expert, you will be a key contributor toCoolIT’scontinued and aggressive growthin the data center liquid cooling industry, supporting the company’s acquisition of new customers and NPI programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Drivegrowthacross all datacenter liquid cooling markets, includinghyperscale,colocation,andserver OEM/ODMs.
• Secure new product introduction (NPI) opportunities byshowcasingdeep product knowledge through compellingtechnical reports andpresentations, including 3D CADrendersand simulations.
• Guide customers through early-stage product planning, providing clear direction even in uncertain situations while balancing technical and commercial risks.
• Build strong relationships with customers, becoming their go-to resource for liquid-cooling program planning.
• Help expand adoption across our product portfolio, including CDUs, rack manifolds, coldplate loops, and software solutions.
• Stay up to date on liquid cooling industry codes, standards, and trends.
• Provide feedback tointernalproduct team on market and feature requirements.
• RepresentCoolITas a liquid cooling expert in key industry groups such as Open19, OCP, and ASHRAE TC9.9.
• 20% or more international travel.

WHO YOU ARE:

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• 5+years experienceinmechanical engineering, electrical engineering, applicationsengineering, technical sales, orproduct development.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+years experienceinHVAC ordata center thermal technologies.

Skills:
