BCtechjobs in Vancouver is seeking a 6-month contract Program Manager to lead the technical delivery of a large-scale transformation through 2027. You will build the integrated program plan, governance, manage dependencies and vendor commitments, and work with architects and engineers to ensure end-to-end feasibility and smooth cutover to operations.

You bring 6–10 years in technical delivery or program management, plus a bachelor’s degree (PMP preferred).

What & Why:

As a result of growth and investment in technology our client is looking for a program manager to lead technical delivery of a large-scale transformation program running through 2027. The program will roll out new enterprise technology and capabilities across multiple functions and locations. You’ll build the integrated program plan and governance structure, connect business and technical workstreams, and manage dependencies, risks, and implementation partner commitments. The role involves working closely with architects and engineers to pressure-test feasibility, ensuring independently built components work end to end through testing, cutover, and transition to operations, and translating technical complexity into clear decisions for senior leaders.

They are located close to rapid transit in newly renovated offices in downtown Vancouver and have an onsite work environment, 4 days a week in office.

You:

You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:

• 6-10 years in technical delivery, program management, software engineering, or consulting, plus a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (PMP or similar preferred)
• You’ve delivered a large, multi-workstream transformation that rolled out new enterprise tech, working with vendors, engineers, and business teams across different locations and time zones
• You know how enterprise apps, integrations, APIs, data, security, testing, and deployment all fit together, and you can build a plan around them and challenge architects and engineers on feasibility and risk
• You’ve set up governance for complex programs (exec reporting, decision forums, risk tracking, budgets, change control) and can explain technical tradeoffs to senior leaders in plain business terms

Compensation:

This role pays between $95-110 per hour.
