Job summary

BeGlobal is seeking an Industrial Security Supervisor to lead the on-site security team, oversee daily operations, manage access control, respond to incidents, and uphold site security standards.

This full-time role offers a $22/hour wage plus a comprehensive benefits package, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Training through GardaWorld Academy is provided, and there are career growth opportunities as a global leader in security services.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in Canada.
• BC security license is valid.
• First aid certification - OFA 1 is required.
• Minimum 6 months supervisory experience in security.
• Minimum 6 months industrial security experience.
• Experience leading teams and coordinating operations.
• Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in report writing and incident documentation.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced industrial environment.
• Comfortable working independently for extended periods.

Responsibilities

As an Industrial Security Supervisor, you will oversee daily security operations, lead a team of security professionals, support access control and patrol activities, respond to incidents, and ensure site security standards are consistently met. Working closely with site leadership and the client, you will help maintain a safe, secure, and efficient operation while setting the standard for professionalism and service excellence.

Responsibilities for Security Supervisor

• Lead and supervise a team of on-site security professionals, providing direction, support, and leadership throughout daily operations
• Coordinate and maintain daily team schedules, ensuring appropriate coverage across all shifts and site requirements
• Ensure all security personnel are trained on, follow, and remain up to date with site-specific procedures, post orders, and client requirements
• Manage site access control, including the issuance, tracking, and administration of access cards and credentials
• Monitor daily security operations and ensure site standards, policies, and procedures are consistently followed
• Complete and review daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation accurately and in a timely manner
• Respond to operational issues and incidents, providing strong leadership and sound decision-making in a fast-paced industrial environment
• Work closely with the client and site leadership to address security concerns and maintain a high level of service
• Perform other security and supervisory duties as required

Qualifications for Security Supervisor

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a BC valid security license
• First aid certification - OFA 1 - Required
• Minimum 6 months of supervisory experience in security or a related field.
• Minimum 6 months of industrial security experience.
• Experience leading teams, coordinating operations, and addressing employee concerns.
• Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in report writing and incident documentation.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced industrial environment.
• Comfortable working independently for extended periods when required.
• Strong situational awareness and sound judgment are essential.
