Job summary

Interior Health is seeking a Technical Lead in Anatomic Pathology to join our Laboratory Services Department at East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook, BC. This permanent full-time opportunity requires a Medical Laboratory Technologist with certification, providing quality management in a dynamic environment.

As a leader, you will be responsible for technical consultation, quality assurance, and implementation of new methods in the laboratory.

Qualifications

• Current certification with CSMLS and eligibility for BCSLS membership.
• 5 years of recent experience, including 3 years in a leadership role.
• Quality Management Certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality of all testing in the Anatomic Pathology area.
• Provide technical consultation and monitor procedures and equipment.
• Coordinate quality management activities in Anatomic Pathology.
