TECO-Westinghouse Motors (Canada) Inc. in Cambridge, ON, is seeking a Technical Inside Sales Representative to join our in-office team. You will support account managers by delivering on-time quotations, processing orders, and expediting information for Electric Motors and Controls products.

You’ll build professional client relationships and coordinate with multiple teams to ensure exceptional customer service. A post-secondary engineering background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary Degree or Diploma from an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering discipline is desired.
• Experience with Electric motors and control products is a plus.
• Proficient with SAP SAP ECC 6.0 and MS Dynamics CRM; strong Excel skills.

Technical Inside Sales Representative (F/T)

You are a highly organized individual with superior customer service skills. You take initiative in assisting our account managers to provide outstanding customer service through on-time quotations, and expediting of information.

The role of Technical Inside Sales Representative requires a high performance individual who excels at customer service. A high degree of self-motivation and commitment to excellence will help ensure success. Your time management skills are outstanding, you thrive in a busy environment and build productive and professional relationships.

As a central point of contact for the client as well as our Account Managers, you will be required to build and maintain excellent working relationships and work towards becoming a trusted advisor for our clients.

Primary Duties:

• Work in conjunction with our account managers to effectively service our customers through on-time quotations, processing orders and expediting of information pertaining to Electric Motors and Controls products.
• You will establish and maintain productive, professional relationships.
• Coordinate and process orders via SAP and process customer inquiries in a timely and efficient manner whilst providing outstanding customer service.
• Compiling the required information and preparing a quotation from the factory price guidelines and requesting required Engineering quotation thru factory programs.
• Coordinate and process customer quotations using our MS Dynamics CRM program.
• Project quotation for custom motors; including medium and low voltage electric motors
• Collaborate with other teams such as, the project management personnel, offering support and guidance.
• Ability to multi-task including, order entry, on-time quotations, responding to customer inquiries via telephone and email with follow-up and scheduling.
• Stay abreast of current products and procedures as required.

What skills are required?

• Post-secondary Degree or Diploma from an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering discipline is desired.
• Related work experience with electric motors and control products as it relates to understanding the applications and limitations for use, preferred.
• Interpreting and review of customer supplied RFQ’s, specifications; application or engineering documents and details.
• Understanding of related NEMA MG1, CSA or other specifications for Electric Motors.
• Proficient Computer Literacy skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel & Word), MS Dynamics CRM and SAP ECC 6.0.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Team work and customer service oriented
• Good Communicator who is a self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision and as a team.
• Ability to use initiative
• Proficient at multi-tasking

You be located in our Cambridge, Ontario office. This is an in office position, a laptop will be provided.

This position is available immediately. The successful candidate will be a motivated team player possessing a strong desire to succeed. Experience with Electric Motors and/or Industrial Sales is a requirement. A post secondary education in a related field and/or minimum 3 Years of experience in an Technical Sales environment is preferable.
