Job summary

ANDRITZ AG in Montreal (Lachine, QC) is seeking a Technical Inside Sales Representative to join our Fiber & Drying Line Services division at the Lachine office. The role involves coordinating with suppliers to obtain quotations, entering orders in SAP, and ensuring on-time delivery by coordinating with Purchasing, Sales, Traffic, and Accounting.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in a mechanical/engineering environment, strong PC skills (Excel/Word), SAP knowledge, and fluent English and French.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience in mechanical/engineering environment or business background.
• Proficient with a PC (to include Microsoft Products; Excel, Word)
• Candidate must continually meet the quality standards of ANDRITZ.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and French is required. Knowledge of Spanish and/or Portuguese an asset.

Responsibilities

• Work with suppliers to obtain quotations.
• Prepare & supply quotations for customer / sales staff as needed.
• Review customer orders for completeness (update & adjust as needed), terms and conditions, and scope.
• Enter orders in SAP.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and Sales to ensure customer orders are processed, expedited, and delivered in a timely manner.
• Work closely with Traffic Coordinator to ensure accuracy of shipping requirements and on-time delivery of orders.
• Coordinate with Accounting to invoice orders.
• Develop and maintain records and reports as deemed necessary.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
• Work is primarily conducted in an office and will be required to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, kneel, up to at least 25 lbs.

When selecting candidates, we will be looking for the following essential skills, abilities, and experience:

• A minimum of 5 years experience working in mechanical/engineering environment or business background.
• Profi cient with a PC (to include Microsoft Products; Excel, Word, knowledge of SAP is highly preferred, self-motivated with excellent organizational skills.
• Candidate must continually meet the quality standards of ANDRITZ.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and French is required. Knowledge of Spanish and/or Portuguese anasset, Have the ability to learn and retain multiple skills & tasks.
