Job Description

The Technical Account Manager (TAM) is responsible for managing relationships with Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) customers, ensuring their satisfaction, and driving renewal and upselling of services.

The Post-Sales Account Manager (SME) will connect regularly with existing customers for technical checkups, serve as the primary contact, and coordinate with Support, Pre-Sales, or Management to address inquiries. They will gather customer feedback and use cases to inform internal teams and product development.

Success in this role will be measured by renewal rates, upsell rates, and customer satisfaction scores. The TAM will collaborate with Pre-Sales to assist in closing deals from a technical perspective.

Qualifications
  • Background in security, systems, or networking.
  • Knowledge of IT security fields such as Firewall, IPS/IDS, Vulnerability Management, Network Scanners, PCI, Policy Compliance/GRC, Audit Tools, and enterprise security solutions.
  • 2-3 years of experience in SaaS industry providing Network Security, IT-Auditing, and Policy Compliance solutions.
  • Familiarity with Federal Regulatory Compliance issues (e.g., HIPAA, GLBA, SOX, FISMA, SCAP) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of auditing frameworks like CIS, NIST, CobiT, ISO27001, ITIL, NERC-CIP is a plus.
  • Strong work ethic with a proactive attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Primarily remote work with occasional travel for client meetings, events, or trade shows.
