Job summary

AutoTrader.ca, part of the AutoScout24 group, is seeking a Tech Ops Engineer (Permanent Fulltime) to troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues with databases and user interfaces, and to support a safe, stable online experience for customers. You’ll work in a collaborative team environment with 2–5+ years of relevant experience.

The role requires a university degree in IT/CS, solid SQL and database skills, Microsoft Azure experience, and understanding of server management.

Qualifications

• University degree required in IT/CS and 2–5+ years of support experience.
• Solid Database and SQL skills required.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and understanding of server management.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues, including root cause analysis and improvements.
• Create bug-fix and enhancement tickets for Agile Dev teams and assist QA as required.
• Manage ticket escalations to 3rd party providers.
• Complete special projects as requested.
