Job summary

AutoTrader.ca, part of the AutoScout24 group, is seeking a Tech Ops Engineer (Permanent Fulltime) to troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues with databases and user interfaces, and to support a safe, stable online experience for customers. You’ll work in a collaborative team environment with 2–5+ years of relevant experience.

The role requires a university degree in IT/CS, solid SQL and database skills, Microsoft Azure experience, and understanding of server management.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues, including root cause analysis and improvements.
• Create bug-fix and enhancement tickets for Agile Dev teams and assist QA as required.
• Manage ticket escalations to 3rd party providers.
• Complete special projects as requested.

Tech Ops Engineer (Permanent Fulltime)

The Tech Ops Engineer has responsibility for troubleshooting and resolving escalated issues with databases and user interfaces. Working in a team environment, assist in providing a safe, stable, and reliable online experience for our customers.

What you’ll do

• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues, including root cause resolutions and suggestions for improvements
• Create bug-fix and enhancement tickets for Agile Dev teams and assist with QA as required
• Manage ticket escalations to 3rd party providers
• Complete special projects as requested

Compensation

Our ranges reflect the expected compensation at the time of posting. The final offer may vary and can be higher based on relevant skills, experience, location, and market conditions. Based on the role, the total rewards package may also include benefits, bonus, and other employee offerings.

The base salary range for this position is

$65,000 - $70,000 CAD
