Job summary

AutoTrader Canada in Etobicoke is seeking a Tech Ops Engineer to troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues across databases and user interfaces, ensuring a safe, stable online experience for customers.

You will collaborate with Agile teams to ticket fixes, assist QA, and manage third-party escalations, leveraging Azure, SQL and server management knowledge to keep our digital car marketplace running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Requires University Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science.
• 2+ years of support experience (2-5+ years emphasized).
• Solid databases and SQL skills required.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and server management.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues, including root cause resolutions and suggestions for improvements.
• Create bug-fix and enhancement tickets for Agile Dev teams and assist with QA as required.
• Manage ticket escalations to 3rd party providers.
• Complete special projects as requested.

The Tech Ops Engineer has responsibility for troubleshooting and resolving escalated issues with databases and user interfaces. Working in a team environment, assist in providing a safe, stable, and reliable online experience for our customers.

• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues, including root cause resolutions and suggestions for improvements

Compensation

The base salary range for this position is $65,000 - $70,000 CAD
