Job summary

CPP Investments in Toronto is seeking a Senior Analyst, Technology & Operations Business Management, on a 6-month contract. You will own IT invoice coordination, accruals, and partner with TechBar to monitor inventory and support financial analysis and operational initiatives that enable informed decision-making.

Qualifications

• University degree or college diploma in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Supply Chain.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills applicable to financial operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; ERP/inventory systems are a plus.
• Ability to manage high volumes of work, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in accruals and invoicing processes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor IT invoice inbox; log, review, and validate invoices against POs, contracts, and goods/services.
• Coordinate invoice approvals with budget owners and act as primary vendor contact for status and inquiries.
• Prepare and submit monthly accruals for IT spend; validate estimates with stakeholders.
• Monitor TechBar inventory levels; reconcile purchases to invoices and accruals.
• Analyze invoice, spend, accrual, and inventory data to identify variances and cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare timely reports on invoice status, aging, accruals, and inventory for leadership.
• Maintain departmental repositories and communication platforms for audit readiness and knowledge sharing.
