Job summary

IFG - International Financial Group is seeking a hands-on Financial Analyst with strong month-end accounting experience for a 6-month contract in Mississauga. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will support month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities.

Responsibilities include preparing journal entries, accruals and reconciliations, performing bank reconciliations, and supporting financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on month-end accounting and reporting experience.
• Experience with bank reconciliations, journal entries and accruals.
• Experience in a mid-to-large-sized organization with high transaction volumes.
• Proficient in Excel with VLOOKUP and PivotTables; macros are a plus.
• Hybrid work arrangement: 3 days onsite per week.
• Contract duration: 6 months with potential extension or permanent conversion.
