Responsibilities

• Demonstrate leadership to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, and safety principles.
• Provide exceptional customer experience across touchpoints.
• Build and lead a high-performance team to meet budgeted targets and deliver quality service.
• Supervise and motivate team members to achieve productivity and service goals.
• Ensure merchandising, stocking, and image standards are maintained across departments.
• Manage inventories in line with policies to minimize loss and ensure accuracy.
• Provide coaching and performance feedback to team members.
• Comply with age-restricted items, tobacco and lottery regulations.
• Oversee daily reports, reconciliations, and purchases.
• Champion asset protection and safety management systems.

What You Will Do:

• Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience at all touch points through various communication channels.
• Build and lead a high-performance team that delivers on budgeted targets by maximizing operational efficiency, providing quality service and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
• Supervise and motivate team members to meet productivity and customer service goals.
• Ensure the departments are displaying, stocking, and rotating merchandise as per company policy and standard with a focus on maintaining image and brand standards.
• Ensure inventories are managed and protected in compliance with management standards and practices to maintain high levels of accuracy and minimal loss.
• Provide superior leadership to team members through coaching, mentoring, performance management and feedback.
• Become familiar with and adhere to Lake Country Co-op policies such as selling of age restricted items and all government regulations relating to tobacco and lottery.
• Oversee the completion of daily reports, reconciliations, and purchases.
• Champion the Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, procedures.
• Perform minor repairs to assets as required.
• Perform all other duties as required.
