Job summary

Lake Country Co-operative Association Limited is seeking permanent part-time Clerk/Cashier to join our C-Store and Gas Bar team in Big River, Saskatchewan. The role involves operating the POS system, serving customers, stocking shelves, and performing general housekeeping.

You will contribute to a safe, efficient store environment, uphold company policies, and handle age-restricted items responsibly. This position offers 24-39 hours per week across three openings, reporting to the C-Store Team

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, and safety principles
• Provide Legendary Service with a strong customer-focused approach
• Operate the point of sale (POS) system and assist guests
• Stock shelves, face shelves, and perform general housekeeping duties
• Maintain a safe and efficient area while following company and government policies
• Understand and follow age-restricted item policies (lottery, tobacco)
• Receive, price and display merchandise as required
• Complete daily reconciliations and reports

Reporting to the C-Store Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:

• Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels.
• Provide in-store service; serve guests, operate the point of sale (POS) system, stock shelves, face shelves, and perform
• general housekeeping duties.
• Maintain a safe and efficient area while adhering to company and government policies, procedures, and standards in
• social responsibility of the selling of age restricted items such as lottery, tobacco
• Ensure a culture of safety while maximizing operational efficiency.
• Have a good working understanding of the POS system.
• Receive, price and display merchandise as required specified by the team leader.
• Complete the necessary daily reconciliations and reports.
