Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of full-time Assistant Team Leader onsite at our 2nd Avenue Convenience Store/Gas Bar in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.

Responsibilities

• Model and champion Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, and safety principles, fostering a strong customer-focused and results-driven culture.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience at all touch points through various communication channels.
• Build and lead a high-performance team that delivers on budgeted targets by maximizing operational efficiency.
• Lead the Convenience Store team in providing quality service and convenience.
• Ensure the department is displaying, stocking, and rotating merchandise as per company policy and standard with a focus on maintaining image and brand standards.
• Ensure inventories are managed and protected in compliance with management standards and practices to maintain high levels of accuracy and minimal loss.
• Provide superior leadership to team members through coaching, mentoring, performance management, and feedback.
• Become familiar with and adhere to Lake Country Co-op policies such as selling of age restricted items and all government regulations relating to tobacco, lottery and fireworks.
• Oversee the completion of daily reports, reconciliations, and purchases.
• Champion the Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, procedures.
• Perform minor repairs to assets as required.
• Perform all other duties as required.

Requirements

• 2 years of Retail Convenience Store management experience including Convenience Store operations, knowledge of pumps, fuel, and compliance in a full-service environment.
• Strong interest in and passion for the in-store tackle selection and outdoor lifestyle.
• Fulfill the physical job requirements: standing, working outside and inside, lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Flexible work schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
