Job summary

CAE seeks a Team Leader to drive one of our Engine Management Services teams, overseeing project delivery, resource planning and performance development. The role includes liaising with customers and expanding the client base while ensuring cost and quality targets are met.

The candidate should have strong supervisory experience, expert knowledge of aviation regulations, and proven abilities in project management, mentoring, and stakeholder communication. Regular travel may be required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years industry experience, preferably in engine maintenance or technical services.
  • Previous supervisory experience essential.
  • Advanced knowledge of aviation regulations.
  • Proven organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with customers and suppliers.
  • Demonstrated mentoring and coaching abilities.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally onsite or to meet customers.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting the EMS Operations Manager and Head of Engines in developing and growing the capabilities of the department to meet our client needs and budgetary targets.

We are currently seeking a Team Leader to join our team at Engine Management Services Team. This position offers will lead one of our teams and a variety of projects in the Engine Management Services department.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Engine Management Services Operations Manager, the successful candidates will be responsible for the coordination of the departments activities, including:

  • Operational management of team assigned to you, including leave allocation, regular one to ones, career development and other HR related aspects.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities at one time and make decisions in a busy, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to enable positive communications both internally and with customers & suppliers.
  • Ability to work well to deadlines with strong project management skills.
  • Strong PC skills required with good knowledge of all company systems and MS office products.
  • Demonstrate the ability to support and motivate team members. - Strong mentoring and coaching skills.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally onsite or to meet customers.
