Job description

As a Senior Program Manager, you will lead large-scale, complex and multi-disciplinary programs, ensuring alignment with business priorities and successful execution from initiation through completion.

You will be accountable for program delivery, including scope, budget, timelines, risk management, and stakeholder engagement, while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement across your portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex programs, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and business priorities.
  • Define program scope, objectives, success criteria, and measurable outcomes.
  • Develop and manage integrated program plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor program performance, proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Provide clear, concise and executive-level reporting on program status, risks, and financials.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration and align stakeholders across multiple business units.
  • Engage and influence senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
  • Lead, coach, and develop project teams to drive performance and accountability.
  • Manage external vendors and partners to ensure delivery excellence.
  • Demonstrated experience understanding, and managing commercial contracts, including vendor agreements and supplier SLAs, ensuring program delivery remains aligned with contractual obligations and commercial outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with governance standards, quality expectations, and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency across programs.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives and support business development activities where required.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management or a related field.
  • 15-20 years of experience leading complex programs or projects in a dynamic environment.
  • Proven experience managing customer-facing or high-visibility initiatives.
  • PMP certification or equivalent.
  • Proven ability to engage, influence, and manage senior stakeholders, including C-suite and executive leadership across complex, matrixed organizations, translating programme priorities into clear business narratives.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Aviation industry experience or exposure to highly regulated environments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
  • Experience with enterprise program management tools and reporting frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, concurrent initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize and communicate complex data.
  • Proven leadership experience, including team development and stakeholder management.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and prioritization skills.
  • Track record of delivering complex programs with measurable business impact.
  • Experience interacting with and influencing executive-level stakeholders.
