In this role, you will act as the Team Lead Warehouse at our refinery in Sarnia. You will responsible for handling highly functional leadership, mentorship and guidance to more junior specialists. Minimum Requirements:

  • 8+ years related work experience with degree or equivalent combination of
  • 2+ years of leadership and management related experience required (formal or informal)
  • Demonstrates advanced knowledge and understanding of Materials, experience with SAP Extended warehouse management
  • Management processes and procedures and innovates to solve complex problems.
  • Post-secondary Business or SCM preferred
  • Oil and Gas background preferred
  • Requires understanding of unionized workforces with the ability to provide strong supervision

Responsibilities:

  • Leads a team, supervises or provides direction to junior staff and has functional responsibility
  • Monitors adherence to policies, procedures, and processes, and recommends corrective action for non-compliance.
  • Demonstrates advanced communication skills and a high results orientation with a demonstrated continuous improvement mindset.
  • The ability to influence the thinking and actions of others.
  • Impacts a considerable number of internal and external stakeholders
  • Functional leader and mentor to medium to large teams.
  • Provides guidance and review for junior colleagues.
  • Deals with problems requiring the understanding and integration of conflicting needs.
  • Applies innovative thinking to generate solutions to complex issues in order to produce value to the business.
  • Resolves conflicting priorities by remaining flexible in an ever-changing environment.
  • Demonstrates effective organizational skills to prioritize and manage projects within tight timelines.

Location and other key details:

  • You will work out of our Sarnia refinery in Ontario, located at 1900 St. Clair Parkway
  • Typical working hours are Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm; however, support to operations will be required outside of regular business hours
