Job summary

Stantec is seeking a motivated Team Lead for the Assessment & Permitting discipline within Environmental Services. The role reports to a Senior Team Lead and requires leadership of a multidisciplinary team across Prairie and Territorial offices, with hybrid work options and in-office time.

You will oversee lifecycle activities from assessment and permitting to construction support, engaging with provincial and federal regulators and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental or natural sciences.
• Master’s degree is an asset.
• Holding or eligibility to obtain a relevant professional designation is preferred but not required.
• A minimum of 7 years of related work experience; consulting experience is an asset.
• Previous leadership or management experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Daily operational management of 6-12 A&P professionals.
• Lead recruitment and onboarding activities for new hires.
• Chair A&P team meetings and coordinate with leadership.
• Provide mentorship and performance feedback to staff.
• Lead or support business development activities and client relationships.
• Ensure training plans and performance targets are met.
• Collaborate with safety personnel to support mandatory training.
• Drive project delivery with focus on efficient execution and safety.
• Support change management initiatives and drive new technical initiatives.
