Job summary

Stantec is seeking a motivated Team Lead for the Assessment & Permitting discipline within Environmental Services. You will report to the Senior Team Lead and help grow the business through recruitment, retention and staff development across Prairie and Territories offices.

You will manage 6-12 A&P professionals, align team performance with the strategic plan, and collaborate with leadership, safety, and HR to ensure training and targets are met. Hybrid in-office presence expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental or natural sciences.
• A Master’s degree is an asset.
• 7 years of related work experience; leadership or management experience is an asset.
• Previous consulting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the A&P team (6-12 professionals) and implement the strategic vision.
• Coordinate recruitment, retention and staff development across Manitoba and other provinces.
• Foster safety, quality, and compliance with environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver environmental assessments and permits.
• Support project delivery with resource planning and performance management.
• Contribute to proposals, budgeting and business development activities.
