Qualifications

• Level 2 General Insurance License is required.
• 5+ years of commercial line brokerage experience across diverse client accounts.
• Strong knowledge of commercial property and liability.
• Experience managing a commercial book independently.
• Strong renewal, endorsement, and marketing experience.
• Applied Epic proficiency or similar agency management software.
• Strong communication and coaching skills.
• CAIB or CIP considered an asset.
• Previous leadership experience considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day team guidance and supervision.
• Support workload and workflow management for the team.
• Assist with complex commercial files and client situations.
• Handle coverage and renewal escalations.

Our client is seeking a Commercial Insurance Team Lead to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced commercial insurance professional who is ready to take on more leadership responsibility while staying connected to the technical work they know and enjoy.

You do not need to have held a formal leadership title. What matters most is strong commercial lines experience, sound judgment, and a track record of being someone colleagues trust for guidance. You will support a team of commercial insurance professionals, help work through more complex files and client situations, and provide coaching that helps others grow.

This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who enjoys both the people side and the technical side of commercial insurance.
