Job summary

Intact is seeking a Team Lead for the Claims Data Analytics Team (CDAT) in Canada. You will guide analytics projects that inform customer experience, operational excellence and financial performance, while coaching team members and coordinating with stakeholders.

Role requires a mathematics/actuarial background, FCAS/FCIA assets, and at least five years of relevant experience. A bilingual capability is essential for national collaboration within a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• University degree in Mathematics or Actuarial Science, or equivalent experience.
• FCAS or FCIA designation is an asset.
• Minimum 5 years of experience, including 1 year of coaching.
• Bilingualism required to interact across the country.
• Eligible to work in Canada, no prior Canadian work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach your group to meet strategic objectives.
• Interpret reports from actuarial analysts to improve claims performance.
• Organize and manage resources per company strategy and budgets.
• Provide technical guidance to actuarial team members on analyses and studies.
• Represent the CDAT Actuarial Service in workshops and committees.
