Job summary

Kiokii Inc. is opening a new store in Ottawa and seeks a Team Lead to set the standard for sales and customer service. You will guide the team to deliver an exceptional shopping experience, align staffing with business needs, and support store opening activities.

The role requires at least 1 year of retail experience with leadership exposure, strong communication, and a passion for Asian beauty trends. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of retail experience, with some leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Passionate about the Asian beauty industry, staying up to date with products and trends to guide staff.
• Skilled in effective communication and building strong interpersonal relationships.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations and coordinate workflows with store management.
• Provide direction, support, and training to store associates.
• Maintain store conditions meeting company standards and Health and Safety regulations.
• Assist staffing to align with business needs and operations.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues, escalating when necessary.
• Drive sales by meeting store targets and KPIs.
• Support store openings and setup.

About the Role

As a Team Lead, you will set the standard for excellence by exemplifying Kiokii's sales and customer service values, inspiring and guiding the team to deliver an exceptional shopping experience for our visitors. Including but not limited to...

• Assisting the store management team in overseeing and coordinating daily store operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows
• Providing clear direction, support, and training to store associates as needed
• Maintaining store conditions to ensure they consistently meet company standards and adhering to Health and Safety regulations
• Supporting staffing efforts to align with business needs and operations as requested
• Addressing customer inquiries and concerns, resolving issues effectively and escalating matters to higher management when necessary
• Driving sales performance by meeting store targets and key performance metrics
• Support with store opening and setup

What We're Looking For

• Minimum of 1 year of retail experience, with some leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Passionate about the Asian beauty industry, dedicated to continuous learning, sharing expertise, and staying up to date with the latest products and trends to guide staff and enhance the customer experience
• Skilled in effective communication and building strong interpersonal relationships
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic retail environment
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Knowledge of retail store operations, merchandising, and customer service standard
