The University of Saskatchewan's School for the Arts is seeking a Teaching Assistant for the Fall 2026 term. You will lead technical tutorials and workshops, oversee groups creating an analogue, hand-drawn animation, and supervise in-lab work sessions using Premiere Pro and After Effects.
You will assist in grading analogue and digital projects, set up DSLR animation stations, and report to Lisa Birke. The position is on campus (Murray 192.2) with 104 hours across the term.

Your general location of work will be MURRAY 192.2, 181, the Production Studio, and the Arts Media Lab. You will report to Lisa Birke.

Qualifications (Skills and Abilities) Minimum of an MFA in Studio Arts and TA experience in the Digital & Integrated Practice Area (in two of the following classes: ART 230; ART 231; ART 330; ART 331; ART 236/338; ART 237/339). Preference will be given to a candidate that has also taken two credits of ART 838/839 Digital & Integrated Practice. Experience in both digital and analogue/traditional animation is required.
You must be registered in a graduate program.
Where a graduate student is appointed to this position, it will be in‑scope of PSAC.
