Position Summary

Teaching Assistants offer support for the delivery of undergraduate courses by assisting with marking assignments, exams, quizzes, assistance in test and exam supervision, tabulating grades, and other related duties as assigned. TAs supporting in-person classes may be expected to attend some classes, and/or meet with the instructor on campus. TAs supporting online courses will support the class remotely via UR Courses, but may need to be available to meet with the instructor on campus.

Position Requirements

M.F.A., M.A. or 4th year student in Visual Arts. Excellent writing skills. Must be a registered student at the University of Regina.

Pay & Work Details

Pay Grade: As per CUPE 2419

Salary Range: As per CUPE 2419 Collective Agreement

Status: Term

Work Hours: Fall 2026 - ART 100: ART 100-991: Mondays, 5:30-8:15 p.m. - up to 85 hours

Term: September-December 2026
