Job summary

University of Saskatchewan invites applications for a Teaching Assistant position in Plant Sciences (PLSC 214).   • PSAC appointment for graduate students.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in teaching activities for PLSC 214, including preparation and demonstrations.
  • Consult with students and invigilate exams.
  • Coordinate with the supervisor for assigned tasks.

Teaching Assistant, Plant Sciences, PLSC 214

In the appointment of Teaching Assistant, your general duties and responsibilities will be: preparation, demonstrating, student consultation, invigilating, and conferring with the Supervisor in charge as required by the assignment. Training is provided.

Your general location of work will be online or in the computer lab in the Agriculture Building and you will report to Krista Wilde.

Required Number of Hours: 4 hours per week during the academic terms.

Duration of Employment: 2026-2027 Fall Session.

Start and End Dates: Sept 1 to Dec 23, 2026.

Qualifications (Skills and Abilities)

Strong background in statistical analysis and agricultural research.
