Collingwood School is seeking Experienced Teachers on Call to join the Wentworth Campus (JK – Grade 7) in West Vancouver, BC. The role focuses on delivering instruction using prepared plans and supervising students throughout the day within a collaborative teaching team.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor of Education and BC Teaching Certification, with a strong commitment to inclusion, safety, and respectful communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Education required.

Responsibilities

• Foster a positive classroom environment aligned with school values and discipline approaches.
• Supervise students safely throughout the school day, including transitions, recess, lunch, and other assigned duties.
• Deliver instruction using lesson plans left by the classroom teacher.
• Maintain classroom routines, expectations, and behaviour management practices.
• Communicate relevant information to the classroom teacher and/or administration regarding student learning, behaviour, or significant incidents.
• Communicate professionally with students, colleagues, and parents.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding student information.
• Be adaptable and comfortable working with different grade levels, classroom environments, and teaching teams.
