Job summary

Wolfcreek is seeking a part-time interim teacher for a combined Grade 5/6 class in Alberta, with duties starting as soon as possible and continuing through the 2026/2027 school year.

The successful candidate will create engaging, inclusive lessons, differentiate for diverse learners, and collaborate with families, administration and colleagues to support student social and academic growth in a team-oriented environment.

Job description

Assignment:

• Part-time 0.51 FTE interim teaching position
• Instructing in a combined grade 5/6 classroom
• Duties to commence as soon as possible and will continue for the remainder of the 2026/2027 school year

Qualifications:

• Knowledge and Experience teaching Division 2 students would be considered an asset
• Ability to create an engaging, inclusive, and differentiated learning experience
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to support diverse learners and differentiate instruction to meet a variety of student needs
• Commitment to collaboration and building positive relationships with students, families, administration and colleagues
• Commitment to student social and academic growth
• Background and/or experience in Literacy and Numeracy Intervention would be considered an asset
• Passion for education and a commitment to ongoing student success
• Ability to differentiate instructional strategies to effectively meet a wide range of individual needs and abilities
• Willingness to work in a team-orientated environment
