Job summary

Wolfcreek is seeking a part-time Educational Assistant (0.95 FTE) to provide one-on-one support for an elementary student in Alberta. This position starts as soon as possible and runs through the 2026/2027 school year.

The role emphasizes empathy, patience, and collaboration with teachers and service providers in a busy learning environment. Candidates with experience supporting students with speech and language delays or behavioral needs are welcome; strong communication and flexible teamwork

Qualifications

• Experience and/or training as an Educational Assistant
• Experience with Students who have speech and language delays would be considered an asset
• Experience supporting students and children with behavioral needs would be considered an asset
• Strong interpersonal skills and a positive personality
• Background and/or Experience working with children with diverse needs
• Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to be flexible in assigned duties
