Job summary

Collective Arts is seeking a hands-on General Manager to run our Hamilton Retail, Taproom and Event space. You will deliver exceptional guest experiences while driving sales across taproom, retail and private events, leading front-of-house staff on the floor 50% of the time.

You will manage staffing, inventory, and daily operations, coaching the team to uphold brand standards and community engagement. Availability for evenings and weekends is required, with a focus on hospitality excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years managing a hospitality venue (bar, brewery, restaurant).
• Proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced service environment.
• Strong understanding of labour management and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Lead the taproom floor during service to ensure high-quality guest experiences.
• Oversee opening/closing procedures and daily operational readiness.
• Manage staff schedules and labour aligned with targets.
• Coach and support team on service standards and product knowledge.
• Monitor sales performance, AOV, and guest feedback for improvement opportunities.
• Oversee inventory across beer, retail, and merchandise.
• Coordinate private events with the Assistant General Manager.
