Job summary

Taps Public House in Mississauga, Ontario is seeking a friendly Server to deliver an exceptional dining experience through hospitality, menu knowledge, and seamless service.

As a member of our team you will greet guests, guide through menu choices, coordinate with kitchen and bar, maintain clean spaces, and ensure safety standards while making guests feel valued and VIP.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to resolve conflicts.
• Basic Math skills.
• One year of hospitality experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an Exceptional Experience: Greet guests warmly, ensure positive interactions, and provide seamless service.
• Be a Menu Maestro: Guide guests through menu selections with confidence, making recommendations and pairing suggestions.
• Perfect the Presentation: Serve food and drinks promptly, maintaining accuracy and high standards.
• Create a Welcoming Atmosphere: Keep the dining area clean, organized, and inviting.
• Maintain Standards: Follow safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
• Facilitate Communication: Coordinate between guests, kitchen, and bar to accommodate requests and dietary needs.
• Stay Proactive: Monitor tables, anticipate needs, and keep service running smoothly.
• Close with Care: Process payments accurately and thank guests for your visit, ensuring a lasting impression.
